If Marvel is using the trailer to set up a massive misdirection with Doom, it's honestly the best way to handle his introduction. Playing him straight as a generic world-ender would be a waste-making him a chess master manipulating the heroes from the shadows is how you do the character justice. 🤔
I watched Simon Whistler's video on the Lake Peignur (pronounced peen-YUR) incident on his Into the Shadows channel. Simon went on to explain that the lake is now home to a completely different ecosystem. It's actually fascinating to listen to. I recommend giving it a watch.
