Comments are the top 120 per video as YouTube ranks them, top-level only (no replies), collected on a single run on 2026-08-27 and de-identified before anything was stored: emails, phone numbers and links replaced, handles removed from the body of the text, not only the author field. The pull covered WatchMojo’s most recent uploads, a shorter recent run of MsMojo and MojoPlays, and for each competitor its most-viewed recent videos plus anything beating its own channel median by two times. Top-sorted sampling favours what YouTube already ranks highly, so likes skew high and the quiet majority is under-represented. Nothing here is a video’s comment total.
